Required documents for Marriage License in Los Angeles

Each person needs to bring one of the following forms of ID: 

• Driver's License
• State Issued ID 
• Military Service Card 
• Passport 
• Alien Registration Card
• Matricula Consular 
• Consular Identification 

If any of these events took place in the last 2 years, you must bring proof or we will not be able to execute the Marriage License: 

• Divorce 
• Annulment 
• Dissolution of State Registered Domestic Partnership 
• Death Certificate

Other details to keep in mind before coming in: 

• You both will need to know the names of your birth mother and birth father (First, Middle, Last Name).
• You both will need to put the same home address for the marriage license application.
• Forms of payment accepted are cash, venmo, zelle, and credit card.
